The lens uses a 17mm screw thread, which is the de facto standard for smartphone add-on optics. It fits any 17mm-thread phone lens case, and those cases are made for essentially every current flagship — iPhone, Huawei, Xiaomi, OPPO, vivo and Samsung. In practice that means you are not locked to one handset: change phones, fit a new 17mm-thread case, keep the lens. Cases are sold separately — tell us your handset model and we will confirm compatibility.

How does the stabilization work?
It uses lens-shift OIS — a floating lens group physically compensates for hand tremor. The manual specifies a ±0.9° correction range at roughly 0.01° precision. This is optical correction, not a digital crop-and-shift.
Can I use it at a concert?
Yes. At 12× you can make out expressions on stage. Because stabilization works handheld, you do not need a tripod — which matters at venues that ban them. It is small enough to pocket.
Does it attach to a smartphone?
Yes, via a 17mm thread — the de facto standard for phone add-on optics. It screws onto a compatible 17mm-thread case. Cases for iPhone, Huawei, Xiaomi, OPPO, vivo, and Samsung flagships are widely available. The case is sold separately — tell us your handset model and we will confirm compatibility, and we may be able to recommend a matching 17mm-thread case.
Will it fit any phone?
It fits any phone for which a 17mm-thread case exists. That covers most major-brand flagships but not every model. Tell us your exact phone when you enquire and we will confirm case availability — we can source the case alongside the lens so thread fit is verified before dispatch.
Is it suitable for birding?
Yes. The APO system (4 ED elements, 2 lanthanide-series elements, 2nd-gen pre-focus flat field) gives colour-corrected, high-resolution images — enough for feather detail on a perched bird. Note that 12× amplifies hand shake, so stabilization matters here. Close focus is around 2m.
Do you ship internationally?
